I have the exact same issue on of coruse vista, I know what caused it and I fixed up the current problems associated with the error 80070005 with the MSN live messenger the latest one. It is an conflict with the Windows Vista Permision's and administer rights but my os has all that fixed up so that my account has full access to every folder on my pc but for some odd reason my g/f accidently clicked on something and the profiles got switched, every profile such as the admin didn't have full access it was read only. Odd thing was trueinstaller was set to full access on all folders/files as I said I fixed this up and I can't get the msn working. I installed an older version, installed the beta version, removed all traces on my pc including the obvious registy entry's with "Msn messenger" in its name. I have a feeling I missed some msn items in the regedit but this isn't working, with this information does anyone have further ideas? I know its a vista permission issue but whats the fix?
