With all due respect, what are you talking about? The only thing I see on
my desktop hooked to a UPS is that the power options now have an "on
battery" section, which they darn well should have so I can power my system
down quickly and automatically if I'm not around to do it when the power
fails. If you see something different, and really do want some help versus
just venting, then please do provide details.
