Hello Leeza,

You're a breath of fresh air! But, it's probably short-lived and I would
kindly point out that this is a newgroup, not a forum. Forums can be
regulated by moderators, newgroups cannot. If you actually want constructive
help without the bashing, go to a forum. In here, it's a crap shoot. (You
just can't make idiots act nicely in a newsgroup.)

Best solution to an angered response... don't respond, it's bait. (Do you
really get upset when an anonymous someone calls an anonymous someone else an
idiot?)

There are two typical types that evoke angered tirades:

1. Those who want to answer everything but seldom actually read the post, so
their response is less than helpful. Sometimes it is blantantly wrong. But,
they continue to try and answer every post they come across. Be polite once,
or twice. Maybe notched up a peg after that. But, after five or six times,
it's the killfile.

2. Trolls. Those that simply want to see a verbal exchange. They somehow
score points (in their own mind) on their ability to get you to respond back.
Some even pose as multiple people just to have a conversation with themselves
hoping to loop you in. The best course for these is to simply put them in a
killfile so you never see them again.
