Prediction:

Windows 7 will be even more buggy, obviously larger and more sluggish
than Vista.

I predict that you will be the poster man for insanity at the end of the
year. You're less than a year away, Albright.

If you are on the MS Beta program or an MSDN subscriber, you may get an idea
in a few months.
Otherwise, you'll know late next year.
Hopefully Vista has caused MS enough of a black eye that they will get the
message and do Windows 7 right.

Even though there's nothing really buggy or sluggish about Vista. Wil
it be larger? Possibly, but that's the same with any new OS from an
company. You want a small OS? Use MS-DOS

I know you don't want to hear this, but W7 is being built on Vista,
according to MS and from all we've seen and heard.
There will be some changes, but W7 will very easily be recognized as an
upgraded version of Vista.
It will not be like going from XP to Vista.
So those who don't like the interface or the layout of Vista, more than
likely, you will not like W7.
As for the "black eye", you refer to I can only say that we, as a small
shop, we're early adapters of Vista, warts and all, yet with SP1 and
proper configuration, none of our crew will ever go back to, clunky,
slow & old looking XP. No way!
So if you intend to go with W7 I'd advise get with Vista before you
really get lost in the dust.

I have been with Vista, but I also have been expermenting with other OS.
If W7 is as clunky and anti user-friendly as Vista, it won't be on my list.

Prediction: Intelligent users will still have you stashed away in their
junk (kill) file for years to come.
