Hi, Buddy.

> How do i address emails to newsgroups in live mail?

You don't. ;^}

Newsgroups don't use email, which deals with .eml files. NGs use NNTP
(Network News Transport Protocol), which deals with .nws files.

Outlook handles email, but does NOT handle newsgroups. Outlook EXPRESS
handles both email and news, as do its successors Windows Mail (only in
Vista) and Windows Live Mail.

This newsgroup is for the newsreader, Windows Live Mail, often abbreviated
WLM (or WLMail when needed to distinguish it from WLMessenger). Your post
is in this newsreader group and is about a newsreader, but you posted it
from the Web interface, so you don't see what I see, using WLM. I use the
Web interface so seldom that I don't know how to answer your question from
that perspective. Also, there are several versions of WLM currently in use,
and their interface differs somewhat, so be sure to always mention which
version of WLM (or other newsreader) you are using so that we know how to
help you.

See the post from Magnus. It should help you figure this out IF you are
using WLMail.

To make a new post in WLM, when in the News area, just click "News message",
in the upper left corner. To Reply to this post - or any other - just click
Reply Group. (Note that there also are options to Reply (to Sender) and
Reply All; these are almost always the wrong choices in newsgroups because
they send an email to the previous poster, which kind of defeats the whole
"many-to-many" purpose of newsgroups.)

In the Mail function of WLMail, there are two or three lines for addresses
IF we choose to see the CC and BCC lines. In the News area, there is only
one line for addresses; the CC and BCC lines don't apply. To send the one
message to multiple newsgroups (called cross-posting), add the other
newsgroup(s) after a semicolon (as Magnus said).
