Office 2007 files attach correctly and you think that it is a WLM issue?
Report it as a bug in Office 2010.

I've verified the bug you found in Word 2010 beta.
I got the identical error message.

I answered you and correctly on the above statement that you made in your original
post. It did not say attachments but using Word and\or Excel to compose email within
WLM.

Now that Ron and Gary gave you an answer on ATTACHMENTS which the above line I
snipped from your post
you now know the answer to your issue
