Greetings Shak,

That is rather annoying isn't it.

I think this is by design, and I can't specifically think of a way of changing the behaviour
(although someone might be able to patch it).

However, you can hide the Favorites category. Just right-click the Favorites category
itself, choose Change favorites layout and then when the Options dialog appears, uncheck
'Show favorites' at the very top.
