....well...you *did* say anyone.

I have no idea what differences some server OS version might have, but I
suppose it is possible that some registry values aren't implemented in
the environment until you reboot. You mention the registry edit and the
password change but not any reboot.

Sorry if this is wide of the mark, but I'm not a server guy - just
thought it odd that nobody answered you.
