Even i was encountered with the same opearting system not founf, to check my servers is completely down with dhcp and DC(Secondary DC) with users started to complain..

i had only little time left , initiall upon checking with my hardware test hard disk was fine and everything else was fine,
i just changed my mind from re formatting or reinstalling the os,
i just tok my windows cd and booted it to recovery console (by pressing R)
at the recovery console prompt i typed the fixboot d:
and applied it . then rebooted my system hola...its workin fine its as it was before

great for a fix myself, follow the same
