My Dell Latitude D620 has the Bluetooth 350 module and what you described isn't under
Vista/32.
Knowing Dell, I'd say it is the software Dell provides that makes the difference.
BTW: Did you know there is a Win7/32 & Win7/64 "urgent" update for the Bluetooth 365
module software ?
