It's a bug. The IE team is aware of the problem and working on a fix.
Workarounds include:
1. With the message closed and OE's Preview pane disabled, enable (Tools >
Options > Read >) Read all message in Plain Text. Now open the message and
print.
2. Forward the message to yourself and print.
3. Begin a Forward of the message > Instead of Sending it, Save it to Drafts
> Enable Preview pane > Highlight the message in Preview pane > File >
Print.
4. Switch from Portrait to Landscape orientation.
