Hi,
You have to delete the existing partnership on the PC or rename the device
and connect.
Answers:
1. You start over on synchronization - you may choose to merge the data and
look for duplicates.
2. No - you can delete the partnership (file - delete partnership) instead
of renaming it.
3. Sprite restore usually works off a flash disk. So it should still work.
I suggest making a backup before renaming the device.
One last thought - either way (rename or delete partnership) you may be
setting up a second partnership with the iPAQ. So what this means is that
you may have to delete a partnership if you have been synchronizing with 2
PCs or you will have a second partnership. In the case of the second
partnership you may have other limitations such as you cannot delete the
partnership on the device and you may not be able to sync Inbox with the
second partnership.
