If Acronis is configured to back up your user profile...it should be
present in your backup/image etc.

C:\Users\<your windows logon name\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows
Live\Contacts
or

who can tell me the path, where the contacts of WLM are located?
I want to back up the contacts in my dayly file-backup in Windows 7
(Acronis Home) and restore it, if necessary on the same place.

Fyi....if using a Live ID to sign on to Windows Live in LWM......keep in
mind...the primary storage location is the web(contacts.live.com)
- one can export to a csv from that GUI if needed

If not using a Live ID...contacts are only stored locally in the
datbase(contacts.edb)
- restoring the file without the folder may present some corruption
issues (i.e. duplicate groups(categories))

Instead of ...Microsoft\Windows Live\Contacts
I corrected to: ....Micosoft\Windows Live Contacts
