No dx10 for xp, dx10 is based on the new vista model which would mean a
whole rewrite of xp to enable it. As for the rest, depends on your
system... vista in actuality is much better with ram and resources overall
but games written for xp can go, as good, not as good, or awful, depending
on the programming of the game. So for now i'd say stay with xp til at least
the summer and then see what the status of games are on vista then.
