Sorry, but that advice is sadly lacking and will leave the poster open to
all and every virus/malware.
Before you take off norton download the free version of AVG + the latest
definition file on to your desktop. Get the Norton uninstall and the latest
norton updates. Also check their help/download sections to see if there is a
patch that is for your problem, if there is download, install and reboot.
Check to see if your problem has gone. If not follow as below:-
Then go offline. Pull out the network or modem cable. Do a full norton and
spyware scan to make sure there is nothing resident on your computer.
You can now safely uninstall everything norton to test whether the problem
you reported is caused by norton. If norton is the cause then intall AVG
free + the latest definitions before going back online so you are safe to
surf.
