I assume you're just normally chatting when this happens? If so, you might want to see of
the router actually has a firmware update from the router manufacturers website that might
correct this problem as usually its just a router issue.

Hi,

The problem is staying connected, something Windows Messenger is far more sensitive issue
than Windows Live Messenger. Normally when people have the problem using WM, the solution
is to install WLM.
