Being the ONLY user on my computer and having set up both Administrator and
User accounts, I've encountered the following:
Under my user account I downloaded for trail purposes the program MAPILab
NNTP and now I want to remove it using Control panel Add and remove. When I
proceed thru the process I get the following set of "window warnings"; "The
System Administrator has set policies to prevent the installation
(removal)". So I relog on as the Administrator and in Control Panel -
programs, the program in question is not even listed. I've also noted that
while in my user mode in control panel, the option to right click and select
"Run as Administrator" is not an option.

Hardware: Intel Pent 4 CPU 2.4GHz, Ram-2GB, Oper. Sys - Vista Home Prem.,
Display Adapter ATI-Radeon X1300, 2 Hard Drives- 300GB each. CD Drive by
Creative and DVD writer by LG.

Any help would be welcome.

An UPDATE: I solved this dilemma by disabling the UAC than going into
control panel/program removal, removing the cited program software then
restoring the UAC control.
