Greetings,

Skype is still free. They only charge if you're making calls to the normal phone network.

Either way, Messenger has this capability too but I'd try it before she goes. Just open up a
conversation window to one another and click the Video icon.

I've been having all sorts of problems with MSN lately... last night my
friend and I couldn't even send messages to anyone...

I would say skype is more stable but there does tend to be a fair delay
in the transfer.

As long as you have both, you have options. If one doesn't work, the other
