Greetings,
All of Messenger's functionality (except the Sharing Folder once its established) including
Remote Assistance requires you to accept an invitation before anything can directly connect
to you.
I haven't seen this whole thread, but is there actual "proof" of what he's saying? There's
lots of possibilities although they would've required you to install some malware or
otherwise.
Your best bet for the time being is to make sure the built-in Windows Firewall in either XP
or Vista is turned on.
