Did you give this contact permission to access your Sharing Folders?

I didnt give him contact permission to access any folders.
He's just a person that I met on a forum and have been talking to on msn
since.

And thanks for all the info. I havent read it yet, but am going to now

Greetings,

All of Messenger's functionality (except the Sharing Folder once its established) including
Remote Assistance requires you to accept an invitation before anything can directly connect
to you.

I haven't seen this whole thread, but is there actual "proof" of what he's saying? There's
lots of possibilities although they would've required you to install some malware or
otherwise.

Your best bet for the time being is to make sure the built-in Windows Firewall in either XP
or Vista is turned on.

There's no real proof. He says he hasn't come into my computer yet. But he
says that he can. Im not sure if he will (if he can) but I just see that as a
threat to my computer's health, as well as my privacy.
