Greetings,
It will forward to port 3389 on your PC, but it uses a random port on your router. As such
in order to use Remote Assistance, your router will need to support Universal Plug and Play
(UPnP) and have UPnP enabled in your router. Most routers do have UPnP support, but you may
need to turn it on.
You can check your UPnP status by clicking the Tools menu (or press Alt-T if the menu is
hidden), then Options, then Connection category and wait a few seconds for the information to
populate.
