Roy, here is what I did (and I have Windows Vista, with the latest
updates on an HP Pavilion):

1) I went to "Start", "Run", and entered "Regedit".

2) I searched for "Suggested sites" and deleted every entry - I believe
there were three.

3) After rebooting I've had no problems with the "Suggested sites"
showing up since.

Indiscriminate registry editing...yep, that's the way...to get yourself
in trouble. Only a matter of time.

If you prefer, Leonard, you may certaily choose to never to edit th
registry. But in carefully editing the registry, over a number o
years, I've never had a problem, even once
