Greetings Kris,

There are a few ways control like this would be accomplished. One is by using Windows Live
Domains:
http://domains.live.com

Another would be setting up a federation agreement although that requires rolling out Live
Communications Server and significant costs.

Hi Kris,

I don't believe anyone can sign up for a Live ID on that domain once it's registered unless
it's through your Admin domain panel.

Hi Kris,

I honestly don't know about the existing IDs, I'm not a Live Domains MVP (sadly there aren't
any, or I'd ask them on your behalf).

I have a feeling there isn't a lot you can do about it. I might be worth e-mailing their
support group to see what they have to say though:

Hi Kris,

I'd be interested in hearing what you get as a reply. Just to warn you however, the Live
support groups tend to send cookie-cutter answers on their first reply before actually
getting directly to your question. Therefore, I would highly suspect you'd have to "explain
again" in a reply to them.

As such, I encourage you to not give up immediately on any first reply as I believe they're
just following a (frustrating so) process.
