You can't do that.
The correct steps would be.
1. Restore your Win 2000 DC from the Win 2000 DC backup. Keep your computer
on a separate network, so that SBS 2003 domain cannot be reached.
2. Demote Win 2000 DC.
3. Connet ex Win 2000 DC (now stand alone server in a workgroup) to the SBS
2003 network.
4. Join ex Win 2000 DC to the SBS 2003 domain as a member server.
