Hi Nick,

Did you try recreating the partnership? To delete and recreate a
partnership --

1. Disconnect the PPC from the computer.
2. In Activesync -> File -> Delete Partnership.
3. Connect the device and follow the onscreen
instructions to setup a new partnership.

Additionally you mention that this occurs during sync of Journal. Which
app are you using to sync Journal? You could check syncing after disabling
the option to sync Journal.

Hi Nick,

You would find the log files in the temp folder.

- Click Start -> Run and type

%temp%

You should find wce*.log files here. You could try taking a look under
wcesmgr.log.

Do post your results after disabling the Journal sync option. Also try
recreating the partnership if the problem persists.
