If you are using standard redirection policies, that makes the users content
available on the server shared folders regardless of what computer that user
logs in from provided all computers you use for this purpose are configured
to use that policy. That would be the case if you used ConnectComputer to
setup the computers. Therefore, if you build and join the new computer in
the same way, the folder content on the redirected folder share will resume
working as before, you have nothing to do to make that work as it has in the
past.
Do keep in mind that the redirected folder is not the entire user experience
content, there may be additional user configuration details you need to
backup and restore from the old machine to the new machine in order for the
user to have a transparent experience in adopting the new workstations.
