Probably that it's the only shortcut on the desktop that requires UAC
approval to launch the app

subscribed to one care yesterday..

the thumbsplus icon the desktop out of maybe 30 icons has a little security
shield on it's thumbnail also. It's the ONLY thumbnail modified.

So what does this mean ?

Oh dear - so you dispense with a layer of security, and now wonder what's
going wrong?
