Under " How to repair a broken version of the .NET Framework ", download
the '.NET Framework setup verification tool to check for errors'.
If there are errors, and it appears there are, then download and run the
'Automated removal tool for the .NET Framework 1.0, 1.1 and 2.0'.
Then download the .NET Framework 1.0 and install it.
Afterwards, install Security Update for Microsoft .NET
Framework, Version 1.1 Service Pack 1 (KB886903).
