When I went to marketplace.com, I was redirected to bnet.
If you look at the Status Bar along the bottom of the screen (Right-click on
the Menu Bar and select the Status Bar, if the Status Bar is not already
visible) and you can see that IE is WAITING FOR REPLY, or some other
message. This woud indicate your Internet service is slow, or the server of
the site you are visiting is slow. If your acces is through a wireless
router, then the router may need to be rebooted.
In any case, I do not think IE itself is your problem. You should reboot the
machine and the router to clean up anything that might be the problem on
your end. If the problem persists, it's the feed to your machine or the
server of the site you are trying to visit.
