If WLM mail is set to compose/send in Html
Place the cursor after the link and press the return button.
- the link will be active.

If WLM mail is set to compose/send in plain text
- the link will be active when viewed in the Outbox and/or Sent Items
folder

I just installed the latest Windows Live Mail program - 2011

In the previous version, when using a web browser and clicking "Send Link
By
Email" (or equivalent), WLM would open up a new message with a clickable
link for me to send.

Since "upgrading", the URL appears, but it is not clickable.

Is there a setting that will enable this? I've looked but can't find one.

WLMail.
