What else is running then? E.g. is iexplore.exe running too?
More importantly what task is getting CPU%?
You can answer these questions using Task Manager
but try using Process Explorer for a more complete picture
of what is happening.
BTW although you may think that WU is responsible for this
symptom, it is a bit like running down the street after the delivery
truck wanting to ask a question about your new appliance
to be looking for help with it here. ; ) Cross-posting to Server General
