I have moved the SoftwareDistribution and ServicePackFiles folders to the D
drive and that has freed up enough space to allow hibernation.
I can move them back in case of trouble - if there is still enough space!
I think that Microsoft is going to receive real flak over the way it has
deployed SP3.
Of course an alternative would be to reconfigure 'hibernate' to use the D
drive - but how?
Cheers
John
PS When I try to find the new post through the emal alert, using Webmail,
there are too many redirections. I have to paste the message text into Word!
Maybe the Forum Masters can think of a better way to set the link.
