Gert, I feel your pain! I don't believe you can change it! I tried several
times to change it and when I looked in the windowsupdate.log it would go to
the web site and reset to 0300:00:00. If you still want to use the auto
update program, I am going to suggest that you also set it to 0300. The
reason is that I had mine set to 10PM and I kept getting a timer reset at
10PM, and then my download time would change to the next day. How ever, if
you have a fast connection, or can stay up for a while. I would turn the auto
update off temporally, and go to windowsupdate site and manually install it!
I started at 11PM and was totally done by 01AM, My download was 90 megs, and
I have a 512K DSL.
