You can define file filter for your replicated folder. So if you define file
filter for *.xls then none of the Excel file would replicate.
You can do it through DFS Management Snap in.
1. Go to Replication Group.
2. Go to Replicated Folder tab.
3. Click on Replicated folder that will pop up properties page.
4. You can define File Filter.
