Well it also depends on not just your own connectivity but what your contact has available as
well.

For instance, you may be on a luscious corporate line with 100Mbps to spare, but if you're
restricted to using the web only then a direct connection won't be established to your
contact and the transfer will be exceptionally slow.

If you aren't restricted but your contact is, it'll be the same problem.

Well, I think they can't. I have only seen file transfers going fast when
both users were under the same network, same LAN or ISP, which is the least
we could expect. Messenger has never been good dealing with speed, NEVER.

Hi,

Cool question. I haven't tried Hamachi and I'm not in a position to test at the moment, but
as long as you get an IP which others can connect to you using the standard Windows
networking, then yes it should.

I'd be really interested in hearing your results if you give this a go.
