<cmd_output OS="XPsp2">
E:\>set /a c= 0x371B
14107
E:\>net helpmsg %c%
14107 is not a valid Windows network message number.
</cmd_output>
Does Vista give any different result for net helpmsg 14107
(in a cmd window)?
Apparently it is another SXS related message:
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/lib...(printer).aspx
<quote>
ERROR_SXS_TRANSACTION_CLOSURE_INCOMPLETE
14107
0x371B
One or more required members of the transaction are not present.
</quote>
So, as usual, I suggest that the code by itself is mostly meaningless.
Search for some context in the files that the update creates or changes.
Search for both the hex and decimal representations of the code.
