| install of sp2 halts with the error "Setup cannot copy the file ntldr" and
| suggests browsing for the file. The file, however, is right there on the
| i386 directory that setup just created. I can copy it to the desktop with
| explorer, redirect to the copied file, and it still says "cannot copy"
|
| Does this mean the file was corrupted somehow from the sp2 loader and I have
| to start all over?
|
| Thanks,
| H

The suggestion is-
CopyDrive Letter:\i386\Filename.dl_ %systemroot%\$win_nt$.~\i386, and then
press ENTER.

It doesn't work. ntldr doesn't have a .dl_ form and when you copy ntldr
itself setup still can't find it. These are the same files that didn't work
in "SO2 Update Fails Every Time" for which the same solution was suggested.
Maybe it worked for him.
