I have a number of Dell and IBM laptops. They are running Windows XP home
edition. I do not have a spare Dell to test XP2 on. Can I install the
same software on an IBM laptop that is on the Dells and test it that way,
or does the testing need to be on the Dell laptop?
Hi Rook,
I agree with LanWrench's reply to installing XP SP2 on your available IBM
maching for testing only.
This will give you the feel of what types of security changes have been
made.
Primarily check for not having "anonymous credentials"
IE secured environment... firewall enhancements... and popup blocker
also Dcom functionality has changed drastically.
