Hi,
Most MVP's and others that help out carry their sites in their signatures
while they respond directly to the problem. Sometimes a reference to an
article previously written is used rather than rewriting it verbatim,
especially for FAQ's. Niether action can possibly be construed as spamming a
user.
What most regulars here do not do is tell a poster to go to another forum
for an answer without explaining why they need to (such as referring someone
to a hijackthis forum), and when it is done by someone not regularly seen
here, it certainly can be interpreted as an attempt to drive traffic to a
spam site as it frequently is.
