Try creating a new standard profile to boot into and see if the problem
follows you to the new profile. If it doesn't you will have to recreate the
existing standard user profile or start using the new one.

I'm having troubles with a Cintiq Tablet in the standard account.
I narrowed down the problem to something to do with admin or standard
account.
Basically, I created a standard account for security reasons. I've learned
to
accept the annoying UAC password prompts and crashes when entering the
passwords at least once daily. But with this current problem, I haven't
found
an easy work around. So disabling UAC is out of the question. I already know
a
UAC free machine runs much better. Just as a single user machine runs fine.
I boot directly into the standard account. When I try to use the tablet,
it's
dead. When I hit the preferences shortcut on the desktop, I get errors
saying
reboot there's a problem with the tablet driver. And a 2nd warning also that
it
can't find the tablet driver. Obviously re-booting is a waste of time. It
ALWAYS fails booting into the standard account.
But switching users or logging off in to the admin account, and the tablets
up
and running just fine.
Return to the standard account, and the tablets still fine.
I asked at Wacom on where the standard account was looking for the drivers,
I
can move them anywhere it's looking for them. But It doesn't seem to be a
can't
find problem, since it's fine in the admin account, and in the standard
AFTER I
log into the admin and return to the standard account.
Ok standard vs admin account gurus, I need more help than MS offers on how
to
fix this so the tablet runs directly fine at boot in the standard account.
