Wired and wireless are 2 different networks.
They are bridged in the router.
Sometimes the bridging is not done right, at least this happens to me a
couple of years ago.
A simple test might be to do an all wired (or an all wireless) setup.
If a PC is running XP, it can act as a server (others can access the
library) but not as a player as it won't see the libraries on other devices.
