And yet a number of these problems were caused by users deleting system
files - something that Linux makes harder to do. If someone is dumb
enough to just start deleting or moving files around in some misguided
effort to clean up or save disk space without understanding what the files
are, at least with Linux the system will still boot and no re-install will
be needed.

3.1 install diskettes and reinstall every piece of software she wanted to
use."
