In addition to the other advice already given, you can also apply Group
Policy Objects to sites. You might have policy objects that map local
printers for each site. Site membership is also independent of the
Active Directory OU layout, so you can have computer/user accounts in
the same OU that are in different sites, and can therefore have
different policies applied.
