Yes, you do. Windows Defender is not an antivirus. Antivirus programs watch
for different types of malware than antispyware programs. My suggestion is
to protect your system with a good antivirus like NOD32, Kaspersky, or
Avast if you want a free one. If you have Vista (which you do), use Windows
Defender. If you don't have Vista (maybe you have an XP machine), my
antispyware program of choice - which I prefer to run on demand instead of
resident - is Malwarebytes Antimalware (MBAM).
