Re: Suddenly changed to Microsoft Update from Windows since new Live messenger

Greetings James,

The latest Live Messenger utilizes Microsoft Update (just Windows Update in Vista) as an
update mechanism.

Either way, Microsoft Update has been around for awhile, but you had to select to use it
specifically. It's the same site, just with other products besides Windows on it.
