Hi Billy,
To change the transparency on the taskbar, do the following. Right click on
a blank area of your desktop and select 'Personalize' from the pop-up menu.
Next, click 'Window Color and Appearance'. On this page, there is an option
'Enable transparency'. If this option is selected, ie the check box has a
tick in it, then the taskbar and the windows surrounds are transparent. If,
however, this check box is clear then the taskbar and window surrounds are
opaque (solid). Click 'OK' to close the dialogue panel.
