I am having the same thing, on three PCs and different sync cables/cradles,
even swapped the iPAQ.
For me, the problem occurs when trying to sync NOTES or FILES, all else
works fine.
One partial solution I have found is to hard-reset the ipaq, restore from a
backup, create a new Profile in Outlook, establish the partnership then let
the ipaq reload the outlook content. This works initially, but by the 2nd
or 3rd sync the problem is back again. Very Frustrating!!!
