Yeah, they'll probably "improve" them the same way Vista "improves"
the tried and true prompts when copying files from one directory to
another and finding duplicates. They'll take it from "clear and
concise" to "totally obfuscated and annoying"

That it is pretty clear and easy to understand.

You really want to know?
Vista is more truthful as it shows approximately when the process is
completed.
XP shows the process to completed when it's only cached.
But you already knew this right?
Or did you!

Frank, we all know you're too damn dumb to know how stupid Vista
really is. So let me help you understand by showing you some of
hundreds of really DUMB Vista error messages.

This one is cute in that Vista is bitching about itself taking too
long to run it's own Diagnostics:

How about this one. Vista saying it will take 25,802 days plus 5 hours
to copy ONE file that's only 273 MB in size.

Finally Vista itself is way more truthful than any fanboy clown.

Note Vista correctly complains about explorer.exe causing Vista to run
slowly. Fancy that bit of irony you clueless dumb ****.

I guess you missed the point all together. Nothing unusual for a baboon
brained idiot moron loser like you.
You're stating a problem a relatively few users experienced (I did
briefly with one of betas) that has been solved with updates and I'm
telling you the real difference in what XP vs Vista is telling us.
Now I'm sure you didn't know that.
Figures...baboon brain!...LOL!

As usual, just Frank bullshit. I just saw one of those funny it will
take thousands of days to copy a file the other day and fool, I have
SP1 installed and the appropriate updates for my system and aside from
me pointing out the multitude of stupid blunders build into Vista my
system runs fine.

As usual the idiot Frank tries to defend Microsoft incompetence.
