Strange. I have linux drivers for *all* the hardware in my different
computers.
Face it: The driver situation for Vista is worse than for linux, and for
64bit Vista it is completely shitty.

As usual, you are blubbering your idiotic drivel. You have no idea at all
about linux, and you try to compensate that with idiocy

Figures. You are a Vista user. It can't get possibly dumber than that

Strange. No one gives a flying **** about your HW and how it
works. Strangely enough they are interested in their HW and how THAT
works. Your constant lies and bullshit are turning this help group in to
another COLA. You constantly claiming Linux is "perfect" and "all HW
works" is a load of bollox and you know it. Now go away and pull the
legs off some spiders or something.

Cheers.

Don't start another stupid thread.. You may have all the drivers for your
hardware.. many don't and I can give you a list if you feel like doing
something useful and writing a couple. The most useful to me would be a a
driver for my Kodak Advantix filmdrive APS scanner.

OK so prove you know something and find me a working driver for the scanner
above.
Then if you prove useful maybe I could ask about some of the other hardware
I would like to work under linux.

Pause while we wait for the inevitable use google/find it yourself reply
that you will try to hide behind to try and prove you were correct.

Idiot! Who ties your shoelaces in the morning? Did MickeyMouse provide you
with Windoze drivers for that Kodak device? Did you slam M$ because they
didn't?

Cheers.

Here is Kodak's answer:

http://www.kodak.com/global/en/servi...4608.jhtml?pq-
path=4497/4532

I do wonder how well it works under Vista....seeing how any google
references to drivers for that device date back to Win98 drivers.

Yep, Linux sucks because they can't find a driver for my 8 year old
scanner.

But if a you've got a 2 year old piece of HW that doesn't have Vista
drivers, it the 3rd party's problem.
