Go to Computer Management / Disk Management

You should see your disks there, but possibly without a letter. Assign a
drive letter to your disk(s).

If you still can't see your disks, check your hardware (USB hub and/or
cable).

TO THE OP
You were advised to go to Disk Management, NOT
Device Manager.

Snipped some
You could try a System File Check to see if that will help to
correct your system.
Go to Start/CMD.
Right click, and run as Administrator.

In the Command window, type, SFC /scannow
and let SFC do its job, then shut down and restart your
machine
bw..
