Hi there,
I meant under settings> control panel > add remove programs, there is a
checkbox there to show (or not show) installed updates, mark the box there
to show installed updates and see if Sp2 shows than.
You have to run a disk scan to check on the bad block(s) open a dos box and
type chkdsk /f and enter choose Y(es) for the disk to bec hecked at windows
restart.
